Details Introduction

EN39 scaffold steel pipes are steel pipes produced according to the European standard EN39 for building scaffolds.

  • Standard Specifications The full name of the EN39 standard is "loose steel tubes for tube and coupler scaffolds," which specifies the requirements for non-alloy steel pipes used in conjunction with couplers conforming to the EN74 standard for erecting scaffolds and work supports in construction.
  • Material Requirements Typically made from materials such as Q195, Q215, Q235, Q345, as well as S235JR, S355J0, similar to China's QA235B material.
  • Dimensions and Specifications The outer diameter is usually 48.3mm, with wall thicknesses of 3.2mm (Type 3) and 4.0mm (Type 4). Common lengths are 6m or 6.4m, customizable upon request, with a minimum length of 0.5m and a maximum length of 12m.
  • Surface Treatment Generally treated with hot-dip galvanizing, with a zinc coating thickness usually required to be no less than 40 microns to enhance corrosion resistance.
  • Mechanical Properties Taking S235GT material as an example, its yield strength is not less than 235MPa, and tensile strength is not less than 340MPa; for S355GT material, the yield strength is not less than 355MPa, and tensile strength is not less than 470MPa.

ASTM A53 is the 'Standard Specification for Black and Hot-Dipped, Zinc-Coated, Welded and Seamless Steel Pipe' established by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), primarily used in pressure piping and mechanical structure fields.

Rectangular tube ASTM A500

This standard is issued under the fixed designation A500/A500M; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year of original adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. A superscript epsilon (ε) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.

Applicable to: construction, machinery manufacturing, photovoltaic, furniture, special vehicle frame manufacturing, container manufacturing, decoration, etc.

Welded steel pipe APL 5L

This standard specifies the manufacturing requirements for seamless and welded pipes for pipeline transportation systems in the petroleum and natural gas industries, including two product specification levels (PSL1 and PSL2). This specification does not apply to cast iron pipes.
