Details Introduction
Product Overview
API 5L welded pipe is a high-quality steel pipe produced in strict accordance with the American Petroleum Institute (API) 5L standard, and is mainly used in the fields of oil, natural gas, water supply and drainage, and industrial fluid transportation. The product adopts advanced welding technology and a strict quality control system, and has excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and structural stability, which can meet the long-term safe operation requirements under high pressure, low temperature and complex geological environments.
Core Advantages
- Standard Compliance: The entire process follows the latest version of the API 5L standard (such as API 5L-45), covering material grades (B, X42-X100, etc.), dimensional tolerances, mechanical properties, and non-destructive testing requirements to ensure product quality is in line with international standards.
- Material Diversity: Base materials such as low-carbon steel and micro-alloy steel can be selected, and customized material solutions can be provided according to the characteristics of the conveying medium, such as anti-sulfur steel (HIC/SCC test), low-temperature toughness steel (-40℃ impact work达标), etc.
- Advanced Technology: Straight seam submerged arc welding (LSAW), spiral submerged arc welding (SSAW) or high-frequency straight seam welding (ERW) technology is adopted. The weld seam is subjected to online ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current testing (ET) and hydrostatic testing. The welding strength reaches more than 95% of the base material.
- Customized Services: Support specification customization with diameters of φ219mm-φ3620mm and wall thicknesses of 6mm-40mm, and can provide 3PE/2PE anti-corrosion coatings, epoxy powder internal anti-corrosion, galvanizing and other surface treatments to meet the needs of different engineering environments.
Application Fields
- Oil and gas long-distance pipeline engineering
- Urban natural gas pipeline network construction
- Industrial water circulation system
- Mine tailings transportation pipeline
- Submarine pipeline project
